Our Pastor
Born and raised in Henry County, Rev. Milton S. Goggins is a pastor and businessman. He was called into ministry at an early age and has been preaching and teaching the Word of God for over 25 years now. Having received his formal ministerial training from Bryant Theological Seminary in Atlanta, GA, he stands boldly to preach the gospel to all who will listen and will do so both in and out of the season. He is warm, compassionate, and readily and willingly able to recognize and respond to the plight of others in a positive, loving, and generous way – always ready to go the extra mile. He strives to ensure that God’s people receive sound Biblical doctrine in the form of preaching and teaching that is relevant for all generations.
Under his leadership, the membership at MOUNT MORIAH BAPTIST CHURCH has grown tremendously and continues to flourish. As the founder and pastor, he has established various ministries designed to meet the needs of his congregation and the community at large. He is committed to ensuring that MOUNT MORIAH BAPTIST CHURCH is “a place where everybody is somebody and Christ is all. Where disciples are made and families are strengthened.”
He is married to Sister Sheila Goggins and has five children, and four grandchildren.

MMBC FEED THE CHILDREN PROJECT
Since March 2020, through donations and assistance from both church and community leaders, Mount Moriah prepares and delivers approximately 400+ meals per day to the children in the Griffin Spalding Community. This project has been providing meals to ensure all children have access to a meal while out of school due to the COVID-19 pandemic crisis. Thanks to all volunteers
